2015 Gold Cup Parade to Feature Big Bands!

(Charlottetown, PE)The 2015 Gold Cup Parade celebrating the “Year of Sport” in Canada will also feature more than 200 band members making this year’s parade one of the biggest collection of bands in Parade history. The 54th Annual Gold Cup Parade will feature six marching bands, and one majorette group including PEI bands; The College of Piping, PEI Clash and the Belfast Pipe and Drum.  Nova Scotia will be represented by the Cape Breton Brass, Na Gaisgich Pipes and Drums from Pictou County and the Nova Scotia Baton Group will parade the streets of Charlottetown.

These bands would not be possible without the many thanks of our Band Sponsors for the 2015 Gold Cup Parade: McDonald’s Restaurants, Hunter’s Ale House, Strait Bridge Crossing Limited, and Rodd Hotels and Resorts.

This year’s parade promises to be an exciting one with the two-hundred marchers, but there is also so much more to see!  The Parade Committee is still accepting entry applications for the 2015 Gold Cup Parade taking place on Friday August 21st. All inquiries can be sent to the Parade Office by emailing Ian Campbell, Gold Cup Parade Coordinator at info@goldcupparade.ca or by calling 1-902-626-5098.
